Behavioral & Educational Consulting, Inc was started in January of 2019. Our mission is to provide children, families, and professionals with opportunity, growth, and independence. We continue to create an organization of individuals who share a love for Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, as well as student growth and learning. Our organization provides guidance and learning for children and families of exceptional children with educational or behavioral needs. Each student's learning is based on individual need. Our professionals consist of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Special Education Credentialed Teachers.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

A BCBA is a person with a certification in applied behavior analysis. BCBAs receive certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Applied behavioral analysis (ABA) is a scientific and systematic processes to help influence an individual’s behavior. Behavior analysts work in classrooms, schools, and clinical settings. Some BCBA's specialize in autism, developmental disabilities, social skills or mental health.
Speech-Language Pathologist
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is a highly-trained professional who evaluates and treats children and adults who have difficulty with speech or language or communication.
SLPs are Licensed through the state and hold CCC-SLP certification by completing a master's or doctoral degree from a CAA-accredited institution.
SLPs work in many different settings including schools, private clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, and public health agencies. Some SLPs specialize in working with children, some with adults.

Credentialed Special Education Teacher
Education Specialist
Education Specialists are Credentialed Teachers who hold a Bachelors degree and have completed a credentialing program. Education Specialists are credentialed through the CTC (California Teacher Credentialing)
Holding various credentials and Authorizations based on the credential received.

Mild/Moderate Disabilities (M/M) Includes specific learning disabilities; mild to moderate intellectual disabilities; other health impairments; serious emotional disturbance; and authorizes service in grades K–12 and in classes organized primarily for adults through age 22.
Moderate/Severe Disabilities (M/S) Includes autism; deaf-blindness; moderate to severe intellectual disabilities; multiple disabilities; serious emotional disturbance; and authorizes service in grades K–12 and in classes organized primarily for adults through age 22.
